Scott Scofield

I’m the CEO of COVUE and an entrepreneurial leader in biomedical engineering and medical
devices. I have achieved successful build/exits in the U.S. and Europe, and now provide end-to-end
Japan market entry solutions for brands and OEMs. My expertise encompasses import compliance,
business development, retailing, marketing and more. My connection to Canada, from memorable
fly-fishing trips to professional projects, inspired me to join the CCCJ. I’m committed to
contributing to the Chamber’s growth and member engagement.

Originally from Vancouver, I’m no

w based in Tokyo and run companies providing education and Canadian immigration services to the Japanese market. Prior to that, I was a senior consultant at Deloitte in Canada. I look forward to connecting with the CCCJ community and, as an avid ice hockey player, being a part of Japan’s hockey scene.

I’m the founder and CEO of PharmBD, a Montreal-based boutique business and corporate development consultation firm specialising in helping clients find strategic partners for their assets in development. We provide services in the fields of pharmaceuticals,  biotech and medtech, and assist customers in enriching their portfolios with new products. I’m excited to join the CCCJ, and look forward to participating in Chamber activities and networking.
