Niagara Economic Development

 Niagara Economic Development works with all of Niagara’s municipalities to provide economic development services to the business community. Ultimately, our activities as an economic development department are targeted at making Niagara more competitive in the marketplace as a region for investment, visiting and living.

All our activities are carried out in partnerships with other public, private and not-for-profit organizations. These partners are located either in Niagara, Ontario or in the United States, depending on the particular initiative. Niagara Economic Development supports Niagara’s Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Point and the Gateway CIP development incentive program.

ADRIA INTERNATIONAL

ADRIA INTERNATIONAL is a trade company that mainly imports Italian wine. Since the company was founded in 1985 we have conducted tours to Europe; imported manufactured goods and food items from all parts of the world; and operated a café/restaurant.

We have focused on importing and selling Italian wine over the past 30 years, and have created two original brands of wine specifically to suit the Japanese palate. In recent years we downsized our number of shops to focus more on digital marketing. But we still have our main shop in Tokyo which is used for tasting and holding wine-related events.

We are looking ahead to expand the scope of our business by becoming a channel between Canada and Japan, and looking forward to collaborating with people and companies of different industries.

California Custom Japan

California Custom Japan is a member of the IAC Group Japan. California Custom started in 1985 in a garage owned by founder Dana Ray Banker in San Clemente, near Los Angeles, California.

The company later expanded to Anaheim, Orange, and Chino, before taking over management and establishing a Japanese corporation. We have been importing various products from Canadian companies since the 1990s.
